NOVA is part of the Northside Independent School district which includes Eliison Elementary, Rawlinson Middle School, and Clark High School.

Nova leasing office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and closed on Sunday. Hours may vary on holidays—please call (210) 694-2200 to confirm.

Nova Apartments does not offer true townhome layouts. However, the community does feature spacious two-bedroom and three-bedroom floor plans that include attached or connected garage options, providing a similar feel of added privacy, convenience, and direct home-style access.

Amenities

NOVA Apartments offers a wide range of amenities designed for comfort, convenience, and recreation. Residents have access to two swimming pools, a 24-hour fitness center, a jogging trail, coworking and business spaces, a clubhouse, game room, BBQ areas, and pet-friendly features including dog parks and a pet wash station. Apartment homes may also include stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, walk-in closets, washer and dryer connections, and private patios or balconies, depending on the floor plan selected.

NOVA Apartments amenities are available during convenient hours for residents to enjoy. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with controlled resident access. The swimming pool is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., the bark park is available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and the clubhouse is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Yes. All apartments at NOVA include full-size washer and dryers in each apartment.

Yes. NOVA resident portal at https://www.novaapartments.com and click the resident log in button on the home page. The portal lets residents pay rent, submit maintenance requests, sign renewals electronically, register guests, reserve amenity spaces, and access community announcements—all 24/7 from desktop or mobile.

Yes. Residents at NOVA are automatically enrolled into the Bilt rewards and perk program. With Bilt Rewards, residents can earn points simply by paying rent with no transaction fees, and those points can be redeemed for travel, fitness classes, dining, shopping, future rent payments, or even a future home down payment. The program also offers additional benefits such as travel transfers, rewards on everyday spending, monthly “Rent Day” bonus offers, credit reporting for on-time rent payments, and other exclusive lifestyle perks depending on membership level and community participation.

Fees & Payments

NOVA offers two security deposit options a standard refundable security deposit and/or a monthly security deposit which vary depending on screening results.

Rent at NOVA is due on the 1st of each month and considered late after the 3rd. Late fees apply after the grace period. Residents can pay online through Bilt.com

Residents at NOVA can conveniently pay rent through Bilt.com. We also offer Flex Pay, which allows residents to split rent into two scheduled payments, and all Flex payments are also made online for added convenience. For the fastest, most secure, and most reliable processing, we encourage all residents to submit payments electronically.

Residents at NOVA are responsible for all utilities: electricity is set up with CPS Energy and payment is made to CPS. Internet, and cable are included in a bulk package through Spectrum and paid to the property. Water, sewer, and trash are typically billed through a utility allocation system by the property each month where payment will be made to the property.

Residents at NOVA must establish electric service in their own name before move-in. The local electrical provider is CPS energy and you can set up your account by calling their customer service number at 210-353-4357. Please bring proof of activated service on move-in day.

NOVA Apartments is located in one of the most active entertainment corridors in Northwest San Antonio, with easy access to major attractions along the UTSA, La Cantera, and The Rim area. Nearby, residents can reach Six Flags Fiesta Texas, a major amusement park known for rides and seasonal events, and The Shops at La Cantera, a large open-air shopping destination with dining, luxury retail, and frequent community events. The Rim offers additional entertainment including movie theaters, bowling, Topgolf, fitness clubs, and a wide range of restaurants, while SeaWorld San Antonio is also a short drive away for marine shows and theme park attractions. NOVA Apartments is located very close to the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), which is typically just a short drive away and is the primary university serving the immediate area. Also nearby are several other higher education institutions, including the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio) in the South Texas Medical Center, which focuses on medical and health-related programs, and Northwest Vista College, part of the Alamo Colleges District, located a bit further west but still within a convenient commute. This makes the area a strong location for students, faculty, and staff who want quick access to multiple campuses in Northwest San Antonio.

Parking & Transportation

NOVA offers several parking options designed for convenience and flexibility. Residents have access to surface parking, covered carports, and garage parking, with select apartment homes also featuring attached garages. The community is designed to make parking accessible throughout the property while providing additional covered and reserved options for residents who want added convenience or vehicle protection. Some online listings also note optional reserved parking and storage spaces may be available for an additional fee depending on availability

Vehicles parked in another resident's assigned spot at NOVA may be towed at the owner's expense. Visitors must use the parking management system to register the vehicle while parked onsite.

NOVA Apartments is located in a part of Northwest San Antonio with convenient access to public transportation. Several VIA Metropolitan Transit bus stops are nearby along Vance Jackson Road and the UTSA corridor, providing routes that connect to UTSA, the Medical Center, and other major destinations across the city. This makes the community reasonably well connected for residents who rely on or supplement their commute with public transit.

Pets

Yes. NOVA allows cats and dogs with no breed restrictions or weight limits. NOVA allows up to to pets per apartment.

NOVA charges a non-refundable pet fee of $400 per pet (one-time per pet) plus monthly pet rent of $25 per pet. Two pets max per apartment. Service animals and emotional support animals are exempt from all pet fees per the Fair Housing Act.

Yes. NOVA requires all residents with pets, service animals, or emotional support animals to complete a Pet Screening profile prior to move-in. Service animals and ESAs are screened at no charge to confirm documentation.

Yes. Service animals and emotional support animals (ESAs) are always welcome at NOVA at no additional fee, deposit, or pet rent—as required by the Fair Housing Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Documentation is required for ESAs.

Move-In & Move-Out

On move-in day at NOVA, please bring: (1) a valid government-issued photo ID; (2) proof of renter's insurance with the property listed as an interested party; (3) confirmation of electric service in your name (CPS Energy is the local provider); and (4) payment of any remaining move-in funds.

Residents at NOVA must provide a 60-day written notice before move-out, even if the lease is set to expire. On move-out day, the apartment must be empty, professionally cleaned, and all keys/fobs/remotes returned. A final inspection determines any deductions from the security deposit; the refundable portion is mailed within 30 days as required by Texas law.

Early lease termination at NOVA requires a 60-day written notice plus an early-termination fee equal to two months' base rent. Residents who break a lease without following the proper procedure may also be charged for damages, unpaid rent, and any reletting costs.

Lease renewals at NOVA are typically offered 60 to 90 days before lease expiration. You'll receive a renewal letter by email outlining the new rate and term options. To renew, reply to the renewal email, call the leasing office at (210) 694-2200 , or stop by in person. Renewal documents are signed electronically through the resident portal.

Subletting is not permitted at NOVA. Lease transfers are allowed in most cases with management approval and a transfer fee. Submit transfer requests to the leasing office in writing at least 30 days in advance.

Yes. NOVA requires renter's insurance with a minimum of $100,000 in personal liability coverage. You may purchase a policy through any licensed provider, or enroll through our partner program Get Covered at insurance.rpmliving.com—rates typically start around $11-$15 per month.

To apply for an apartment at NOVA, you'll need: (1) a valid government-issued photo ID; (2) proof of income—pay stubs, offer letter, or tax returns; (3) a completed rental application; and (4) payment of the application and administrative fees. International students and applicants without U.S. credit history may be asked for additional documentation.

Applicants at NOVA must have a gross monthly income of at least three (3) times the monthly rent. Credit is reviewed holistically—we evaluate the full credit profile, rental history, and any prior evictions rather than relying solely on a score. Applicants with limited credit history may qualify with a co-signer or additional deposit.

Yes. NOVA accepts one guarantor (co-signer) per apartment when an applicant does not meet the income requirement on their own. The guarantor must have a gross monthly income of at least five (5) times the rent and pass the standard background and credit screening.

Yes. NOVA conducts standard credit, criminal background, eviction history, and rental history checks on all adult applicants (18+). All screenings are conducted in compliance with the Fair Housing Act and Texas law.

Yes. NOVA offers leases terms starting at 6 months as a new resident or 3 months as a renewing resident.

NOVA offers flexible lease terms ranging from 6 to 15 months. Pricing varies by length—12-month leases typically offer the best monthly rate, while shorter terms carry a premium. Renewals are available 60 to 90 days before lease end.
